Laradon is Hiring a Communications Coordinator Near Denver, CO

Position: Communications Coordinator

Location: Laradon fosters a collaborative, team environment; working on-site in Denver, CO.

Application Deadline: May 31

Schedule: Monday-Friday, based on a 40 hour work week.

Starting Salary Range: *$26.00-$31.20/hr.

*The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range of where a typical entry level candidate would start and is not meant to be all inclusive. Additional education and experience may result in a starting pay outside of the stated range.*

We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the Foundation team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role will support Laradon’s mission by assisting the Communications Manager with managing and creating engaging content for Laradon’s social media outlets and digital platforms that elevate our brand. The Communications Coordinator will also help in the development and implementation of the organization’s social media and overall marketing plan.  

No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Create, edit/design, and post content to Laradon’s social media channels on a daily basis (including live postings from Laradon events/activities)
  • Coordinate with Laradon programs to gather pictures and stories for social media and digital platforms
  • Contribute to the Laradon Blog on a weekly basis
  • Oversee the social media master calendar alongside the Communications Manager
  • Monitor social media and website analytics on a weekly/monthly basis, provide reports, and make recommendations to increase engagement.
  • Assist with planning, writing, and managing e-mail newsletter
  • Support with special events when needed
  • Assist with other marketing duties – graphic design, video editing, public relations
  • Other special projects as assigned
